This is all so lovely and thoughtful but I particularly appreciated the sharp clarity of this sentence and the use of the word DIGNITY: "I allow myself the dignity to feel down when I am down, frustrated when I am frustrated, calm when I am calm, full of wonder when the world makes me smile." Letting ourselves feel as dignity is a concept I'll be gnawing on for a while 💜

Thank you for your kind comment. Yes, "dignity" is a powerful stance to cultivate and I think it is in partnership with self-compassion and compassion in general. As a side note, I believe you know my brother, Adam Thomas, who attended your retreat last year. And I'm just down the road from you in Cary!
